Kay Watanabe is a Brisbane-based visual artist who is mainly working in the field of printmaking. Kay is increasingly aware of the problems modern society is facing - various conflicts among nations, within the community and inside the household as well as environmental issues.
Through “Higher” and “Taller,” both of which were created using the etching and stencil techniques, Kay expresses her hope for a solution despite these problems, which are often meshed together.
